If I remember correctly...
…someone once said something like, “the greatest threat to democracy is an uninformed electorate.”
I think of that often these days. Especially when I hear people who have no problem with the government imprisoning people indefinitely or monitoring citizens without warrants throw a tantrum at the idea of the government helping everyone have access to medical care.

I was quite excited and hoped to do a complicated post to document my “project” of installing the hard luggage on my new motorcycle.

Well, as it turns out I was extra cautious and decided to *thoroughly* understand what I was getting into before starting. That’s where the plot began to thicken.
Sometime around the first half hour I realized that...
DIY...or not
The garage is currently filled with the contents of a large box containing the parts/kit needed for hard bags on my Tiger 1050. Actually, it looks more like there was a controlled explosion out there.
This project has the looks of 5 hours of pain and frustration followed by a nice feeling of accomplishment. (accompanied by a nagging fear of missing some step of the cryptic instructions)
