Sunday Ride - 10/25/09
Ignoring my rant about other drivers, I did have a pretty good ride today.
It was perfect fall weather that fell somewhere between crisp/warm. I added some layers of clothing for warmth and guessed correctly. Never too hot or cold on the trip.
The only problem was the navigation. Google Maps is excellent for plotting a pointless cruise around the area. Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide...
Road Rant
Today’s motorcycle ride started with me following a sedan that was driving 10 miles under the posted speed limit and weaving back and forth between the yellow and white lines. It soon became clear that the driver was reading, or trying to read, a road map on the steering wheel.
Seriously, what is wrong with people?
Pull over to the side of the road if you don’t know where you are....
Sports karma
My girlfriend puts up with me watching Formula One, Indy Car, and NASCAR racing for about 9 months of the year. So when her Yankees make the post-season I keep my mouth shut and watch baseball.
And now it’s midnight, it’s pouring in NYC but they’re still playing, and it’s the 12th inning. This game may never end and I still have the entire Charlotte race to watch.
Payback...

If I understand correctly, President Barack Obama is successfully destroying America as we know it and taking away people’s freedoms.
Except when he wins an award. Then he hasn’t done or accomplished anything.
